House Painting

A coworker asked me to do this painting of her son's house as a Christmas Present. Its a
fairly new house in Virginia with about 5 acres of land. I am pleased with the outcome and glad I got the chance to do this. THIS IS a great idea for christmas gifts...give a painting of a HOUSE, the place you got MARRIED, or somewhere that is special and has a lot of meaning. Wonders with Watercolor...

I am loving working with this new medium. Usually I am working with oils on canvas, but figured I would change it up with a new medium. This latest painting is for a friend who is giving her Father in Law a painting of his plane for Christmas.

This is a new watercolor image of a historic pharmacy in Downtown Cartersville-the first of about 6 places. I normally work in oil, but the more I work in watercolor, the more I LOVE it.:) I am trying to come up with ideas for the Rose Lawn Arts Festival...and this is one of them.

Here is my newest painting... my friend Jessica is buying this as a gift for her boyfriend's graduate school graduation present. It is a custom original BULLDAWG painting 18x24. Maybe you know of someone who is heading off to college for their first year and what better way to show them how proud you are than to give them an original one of kind painting of their College Mascott! NEW VENTURE: PORTRAITS

This is something I have wanted to do for a long time, but I have avoided it and procrastinated because I knew it would be a challenge for me. I am so thankful that I decided to give this a try because it opened up a new avenue for painting.
